This is a Grade A red jade cabochon, with excellent lustre and translucency. Red hues are relatively uncommon in natural jadeite. This ring is rare as it has an intense and vibrant red hue, unlike other red jadeite which usually forms thinly on the surface of a jade rough and appears dull. Despite its saturated colour, the jadeite material has good translucency which gives the jade ring a dewy translucent effect in any lighting. Mounted in 18K white gold and adorned with natural diamonds.
The jadeite cabochon in this jade ring is guaranteed Type A and has not been enhanced or heated.
