Abundance and perseverance. Koi fish are symbols of good luck. These Koi are ingeniously carved on the patches or flowers of the vivid green hue (飘绿花) found on a single piece of jadeite. The carving on the Koi is intricate and beautiful, down to a small details such as the barbels are being carved. The back of the pendant is smooth with a floating green carved as the tail of the Koi. An excellent craftmanship is demonstrated with the lively appearance of the Koi being beautifully expressed, making it a wonderfully crafted figure. The scales carved on the back of the Koi strategically position on the vivid green hue makes the fish appear to be lively. A good level of translucency complements the vivid green hue to give a watery lustre to the jade. This watery appearance is accentuated in natural lighting which allows light to penetrate the more translucent areas of the jadeite material. Come with dark brown adjustable necklace string
