The jadeite is of top quality as though it looks pitch black under the natural lighting but it reflects an imperial green when light shines through. It has very good lustre and is totally black without impurities on the surface. Such jadeite pendant without any carving represents safety 平安无事牌. The simply polished trapezoid shaped pendant without any carvings, meant "平安无事" in Chinese which symbolizes safety and that every path one takes will be smooth without obstacles.
